What’s changing
Contact Validation (email confirmation)
For .DE, when a domain holder email address is added for the first time, a confirmation email will be sent. Your customer will receive this email from Realtime Register (via our platform flow).
Action required: Make sure your branding is up to date, so the confirmation emails are clearly recognisable for your customers:
WHOIS / registration data visibility
DENIC is introducing changes to how WHOIS lookup results are displayed and what information is made available. This impacts what users may see when looking up .DE domains and how contact data is presented.Data quality expectations
