SIDN will migrate to a new backend in March 2026, and from that moment all .NL domains must use annual periods exclusively.
Monthly and quarterly periods will be phased out entirely.
Required actions:
- Stop quarterly registrations as soon as possible. Use yearly periods only starting May 1, 2025.
- Convert incoming transfers directly to yearly periods.
- Gradually convert existing domains to yearly periods in the period April 2025 - March 2026.
