In earlier updates, we informed you about the temporary limitations related to our .RU provider and the challenges of operating .RU and .РФ domains in the current geopolitical and regulatory environment.
We now have a more positive update to share.
We’ve onboarded a new provider for the following TLDs:
.RU, .SU, .COM.RU, .NET.RU
In addition, we can now also offer support for the following related TLDs:
.PYC, .москва, .moscow, .tatar, .дети
This allows us to restore and broaden support for registrations, transfers, and ongoing management within the RU namespace.
What this means for you as a partner
Working with .RU and .РФ domain providers remains complex due to the current geopolitical and regulatory situation. Setting up and maintaining a stable configuration requires additional effort and compliance measures, which also impacts pricing.
With the new provider:
- Cost prices for these TLDs are higher than before
- As a result, selling prices for .ru, .su, .com.ru, .net.ru, and the newly added TLDs have increased compared to our previous provider

Upcoming requirements for .RU domains
To align with our new provider and applicable regulations, we will introduce additional requirements for .RU domains. Once these requirements are finalized, we will share a separate communication with clear details, timelines and any actions required on your side.
No impact on existing domains
All existing .RU and related domains currently under our management:
- remain active
- can be renewed
- can be updated
- can be transferred out
- can be managed as usual
