We want to inform you that SK-NIC announced new verification requirements, whereby we as a registrar must verify registrant contact data during a create or transfer for .SK: name/legal entity, email, and phone.
What this means for you:
- When you submit a create, transfer, or registrant-contact update for .sk, the registrant will receive contact validation prompts (email and/or phone).
- We’re reusing our existing contact-validation email flow which we already use for gTLD contact checks, so your customers will recognize the process and the contact validation branding mail.
- For natural-person holders, .sk WHOIS remains privacy-minimized by default; personal fields aren’t public unless opted-in.
