To help you stay compliant with the NIS2 Directive, we’ve introduced a new Privacy Setting feature that gives you control over which registrant data fields are considered non-personal and can be safely published via our RDAP server.
What you can do
Coordinate with registrants to identify which data fields (e.g., organization name) are not personal.
Use the Privacy Setting tool to mark these fields accordingly. Once selected, the data is automatically exposed via RDAP, ensuring transparency without compromising privacy.
Why it matters
Under Article 28 of NIS2, registrars must publish non-personal domain registration data without delay. This feature helps you:
- Stay compliant with the NIS-2
- Protect registrants’ personal data in line with GDPR
Which non-personal data needs to be published?
- Registrant organization name
- Email and phone number
