After two successful events at Domain Days Dubai and MSP Global, it was time for the third, and as they say, “third time’s the charm”. We arrived at the next chapter on the event calendar: ICANN84, which brought us to the heart of Dublin. ICANN’s Annual General Meeting, where policy makers, registries and registrars come together to shape the future of the industry allows for good talks and discussions. This edition was no different.

This year’s edition, Realtime Register was represented by Berend (CEO), Yasin (Head of Domains and SSL), Ronny (Head of Business Development) and me (Calvin, Business Development Manager). Between the four of us, we succeeded exactly in what we set out to do:

  • Meet with existing partners: We met with our existing partners to talk about their experiences of using Realtime Register, how we can further extend our partnerships and in general to catch up, have a laugh and strengthen our partnerships
  • Meet with potential and new partners: Alongside meeting with existing partners, we had conversations with potential partners to use Realtime Register’s services. Discussing topics from consolidation, streamlining domain processes to helping partners stay compliant in a world where policies are everchanging and upcoming (i.e. NIS2) and finalizing new partnerships.
  • Meet with Registries: We team up with domain registries to represent our partners and resellers. Whether it’s brainstorming new promotions, sharing feedback, or spotting growth opportunities, we’re always working to help our partners expand their domain portfolio.

Leaving ICANN84, we are energized with the number of positive conversations, feedback and fun talks we had with our partners, new & familiar industry friends. Missed the opportunity to talk to each other? Feel free to reach out via DM or at sales@realtimeregister.com.

To all of you at ICANN84, thank you for an amazing and fruitful time. And to all of you who heard me sing at the karaoke bar, please accept my apologies.
