EURid change of Terms and Conditions
EURid has updated the .eu Accredited Registrar Agreement. From the 1st of January 2026, for every .eu registration, you must ensure and keep evidence that the registrant has accepted the Rules in effect at the time of registration. The registrant confirms the request is made in good faith, does not infringe the rights of any third party, and meets the .eu eligibility criteria.
What we’re doing:
- We will use the same contact validation and email confirmation mechanism we already apply to gTLDs for .eu as well.
- Our process helps you keep proof that the registrant can be reached and has confirmed.
What you should do:
- Use the registrant’s own email address in orders so verification completes smoothly.
- If you work with resellers, ensure they follow the same steps.
