Today, we are a fully independent wholesale registrar. Unlike many other registrars, Realtime Register chooses not to sell to end users, and therefore does not compete with its own resellers.

Realtime Register’s culture is, like all companies, a reflection of its people. And we’re proud of our people. Most have been around for years, some since the very start. This means we’ve built up a large pool of expertise. Becoming and staying accredited at over 150 registries, we’ve built up close relationships with the registries. We know how they work, how they think, and how they can support us to help our customers to succeed.
We can be an odd bunch sometimes. Before we moved to our new office, tradition meant hanging a fake white Christmas tree upside down from the ceiling. Why? Because we could, of course. We had our ‘nerf-gun-fight-at-the-office’ phase. Nobody got hurt (badly), but these days we tend to stick with FIFA on our PS5, or a game of table soccer (or foosball). Second best at our very first SIDN table soccer tournament is still something we’re proud of. And we were voted best dressed at a conference while wearing shiny white and orange suits with orange sneakers. Fashion sense be damned, we looked awesome. You can still find us at most ICANN events, conferences like CloudFest and registry get-togethers, but these days we leave the shiny suits at home.
All kidding aside, even though we play hard, we also work hard. And we are very good at what we do. We’ve been working with thousands of hosting companies from all over the world, and we used to be part of a hosting company ourselves. We know what these companies need to succeed, and that is what we develop. Because of that we repeatedly get requests to speak at conferences. And we’re especially proud when other developers compliment us on what we have built.
