From October 20 to 23, Realtime Register’s Martijn Kamphuis (Director of Vendor Relations & Strategic Alliances) and Calvin Korenhof (Business Development Manager) attended the Acronis TRU Summit and MSP Global in Barcelona. The four-day trip offered an inspiring mix of partner meetings, trend sessions, and insights into the future of cloud solutions, backup, and cybersecurity solutions.
A warm welcome from Acronis
The visit kicked off on Monday, October 20, with an Acronis-organized dinner followed by a lively beach party.
“It was a great way to start the week,” says Martijn. “We met many Acronis customers, fellow distributors, and long-time …

Realtime Register proudly announces the addition of Blackwall to its growing vendor portfolio. Blackwall is a cutting-edge traffic management and bot control solution that empowers hosting providers, digital agencies, and website owners to take back control over who visits their websites, and why.
“Every organization hosting websites should integrate a solution like Blackwall into their infrastructure,” says Martijn Kamphuis, Director Vendor Relations & Strategic Alliances at Realtime Register. “Most website owners and hosting providers have no idea how many bots - both good and bad - visit their sites on a daily basis.”

The Finnish registry (Traficom) is introducing registrant contact validation for all .FI domain names.
At Realtime Register, we’ll handle this using the same familiar validation flow we already use for gTLDs, so there’s no additional complexity for our partners or customers.
What You Can Expect
- New registrations and contact changes: When a new .FI domain is registered or when registrant contact details are updated, the registrant will receive a verification email. They must confirm the details via the verification link.
 - Additional registry checks:
Traficom may perform risk-based checks on certain registrations. - Possible delays:
Missing, inaccurate, or unverified contact data may …

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the Verisign Registrar Days EMEA in Brussels — a two-day event that brought together domain industry professionals from across the region.

We want to inform you that SK-NIC announced new verification requirements, whereby we as a registrar must verify registrant contact data during a create or transfer for .SK: name/legal entity, email, and phone.
What this means for you:
- When you submit a create, transfer, or registrant-contact update for .sk, the registrant will receive contact validation prompts (email and/or phone).
 - We’re reusing our existing contact-validation email flow which we already use for gTLD contact checks, so your customers will recognize the process and the contact validation branding mail.
 - For natural-person holders, .sk WHOIS remains privacy-minimized by default; personal fields …

We want to let you know that on 3 October 2025 the .CO registry will move to a new technical operator appointed by Colombia’s Ministry of ICT (MINTIC). This is an administrative change at the registry level.
For you as a Realtime Register customer, nothing changes. Your pricing, workflows, API integration, and the .CO domain lifecycle remain the same. The registration period stays capped at a maximum of 5 years, and existing premium rules continue unchanged. No action is required on your side.
We’re coordinating the handover with the registry and will keep you informed if anything relevant to your …
