WordCamp Asia 2026, Mumbai Quick Recap

Last week, I had the opportunity to be at WordCamp Asia 2026 in Mumbai, and it proved to be an insightful and high-energy gathering of the global WordPress community.

The event was hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre, which turned out to be a fantastic venue for something of this scale. Everything felt well-organized, and the space made it easy to move around and have conversations without it feeling too chaotic.

What stood out immediately was the sheer size and diversity of the crowd. There were agencies, developers, hosting providers, and entrepreneurs from across India and other regions, all under one roof. It gave a very real sense of how active and fast-growing the WordPress ecosystem is right now.

Spending time at the event also helped me better understand the Indian WordPress market. There’s clearly strong momentum, with businesses scaling quickly and looking for more reliable and efficient ways to manage their online presence. Topics like performance, security, AI, and scaling operations were recurring themes across the event.

Most of my time was spent speaking with people on the floor, which turned out to be the most valuable part. I had the chance to meet a number of new prospects and have some very practical conversations around how they currently manage domains and hosting, where they face challenges, and what they’re looking to improve going forward.

A common thread across many of these discussions was the need for better automation, smoother workflows, and more dependable backend systems, especially for those managing larger portfolios. This is exactly where Realtime Register can support and add value.

All in all, it was a productive few days. Good conversations, new connections, and a clearer view of where the market is heading. Looking forward to building on the relationships started there.
