Reflecting on the first half of 2026: Growing together with our partners

We started 2026 with ambitious plans. Above all, we wanted to continue supporting our community of more than 1,500 active partners in the best possible way. Throughout the first half of the year, that ambition has guided everything we've done.

At Realtime Register, we've always believed that our success is directly connected to the success of our partners. Every investment we make, whether it's in our platform, our solutions portfolio, compliance capabilities or our team, is ultimately made with one goal in mind: helping Hosting Providers, Digital Agencies and Managed Service Providers strengthen their businesses and create more value for their customers.

From domain platform to full-suite distributor

When Realtime Register was founded in 2004, we started as a platform for managing domain names. It didn't take long before we recognised a broader need within the market.

Smaller Hosting Providers, Digital Agencies and Managed Service Providers often lacked the purchasing volume needed to access competitive pricing and conditions. We created a wholesale platform that allowed them to benefit from the same advantages as much larger organisations, while steadily expanding our domain portfolio to more than 2,000 TLDs.

As our partners grew, so did their needs.

They asked us for competitively priced SSL certificates, followed by Plesk licences, backup solutions, website builders and many other services. The markets we serve have always been volume-driven, and that remains true today. Success depends on offering the right services, operating efficiently and continuously delivering additional value to customers.

Our role has therefore expanded well beyond domains alone. Today, we also help partners with compliance, accreditations and registry connectivity through our Registry Gateway, supporting increasingly complex requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and regulations including NIS2.

Creating value for both partners and vendors

With more than 1,500 active partners, Realtime Register has built significant purchasing power. That makes us valuable not only for our partners, but also for the vendors we work with.

For our partners, we bring domains and carefully selected digital solutions together under one roof, making it easier to build and expand their portfolio.

For vendors, we provide a trusted distribution partner with direct access to more than 1,500 SMB-focused service providers, while offering a single point of contact to collaborate with.

Throughout the first half of 2026, we continued searching for the right vendors to strengthen our ecosystem and negotiated the best possible commercial conditions for our partners. Sometimes this means more competitive pricing. Sometimes it means removing minimum commitments. In other cases, it means enabling white-label capabilities without additional costs.

Whatever the agreement, our focus remains the same: making modern technology commercially accessible for the SMB market.

In today's market, partners need to increase average revenue per customer, reduce churn and attract new customers with modern, high-quality solutions that complement their own expertise and services. Alongside the products themselves, we continue supporting our partners by sharing best practices, market knowledge and data-driven insights that help them make informed decisions and grow their businesses.

A new brand for a broader role

In March, we introduced our new brand identity to better reflect the role Realtime Register fulfils today.

Over the years, we have evolved from a wholesale domain provider into a full-suite distributor focused on the SMB market for Hosting Providers, Digital Agencies and Managed Service Providers.

Alongside our rebranding, we launched our new website and significantly expanded our marketing activities. The larger and stronger our partner community becomes, the more value we can create together and the stronger our position becomes when working with vendors on behalf of our partners.

Strong growth during the first half of 2026

The continued demand for our services is reflected in our results.

Compared to the first half of 2025, new partner registrations increased by 50%, while our managed domain portfolio grew by 22%.

Today, our partners are active all over the world. To better support this international community, we expanded the language options available throughout our platform by adding Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Flemish, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.

We also introduced several important platform improvements. SSL ACME subscriptions are now available, making SSL certificate automation easier than ever. In addition, we added enhanced contact validation and verification capabilities to help partners comply with evolving industry requirements, including NIS2.

Continuing to invest in security and compliance

Security, compliance and responsible domain management continue to be fundamental to how we operate.

During the first half of 2026, we further strengthened our monitoring capabilities by integrating additional reputation blocklist (RBL) intelligence feeds into our security processes. These feeds enable us to detect phishing, malware, fraud and other forms of online abuse at an earlier stage. They also create opportunities for our partners to further strengthen the security services they provide to their own customers.

Our Compliance & Abuse team continued working closely with registries, industry partners and security organisations to help protect the domain name ecosystem. By combining threat intelligence, automation and experienced human review, we continue improving our ability to identify and address abusive registrations while minimising disruption for legitimate businesses.

We also remained actively involved in ICANN policy discussions that will shape the future of DNS abuse mitigation. One of the most important developments currently underway is the Associated Domains Check (ADC), an initiative designed to identify potentially abusive networks of domain names linked to known malicious activity.

While ADC will introduce new challenges for many registrars, particularly those with limited abuse mitigation experience, this is an area where Realtime Register has built years of practical expertise. Association analysis, investigating related domain portfolios and making risk-based decisions have long been part of our daily abuse handling processes. This experience allows us to distinguish genuine threats from legitimate customer activity, helping protect both the security of the internet and the businesses of our partners.

As cyber threats, regulations and industry expectations continue to evolve, we remain committed to providing our partners with the technology, expertise and support they need to grow safely and confidently.

This commitment was also reflected in the successful completion of our annual ISO/IEC 27001:2022 surveillance audit, reaffirming our ongoing dedication to information security and continuous improvement.

Expanding our solutions portfolio

While continuing to strengthen our platform, we also spent the first half of the year evaluating new additions to our solutions portfolio.

Shortly after the summer, we will welcome WebPros NOVA Cloud and Monarx Dark Web Monitoring to our ecosystem. Several additional solutions are already planned for later this year, allowing our partners to continue expanding their own portfolios with carefully selected services that meet the changing needs of the SMB market.

To support this growing portfolio, we also expanded our commercial team and welcomed dedicated Solution Engineers. Their role is to help partners identify new opportunities, provide expert advice on portfolio development and demonstrate solutions that fit their business and customers.

Looking ahead

We entered 2026 with ambitious plans, and during the first half of the year we have already turned many of those ambitions into action.

As we look ahead, we are preparing for another exciting period. Millions of domain names will be migrated, new products and services will be added to our platform, and we will continue investing in technology, security, compliance and partner support.

None of this is about growth for its own sake. It is about helping our partners remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market and giving them access to the tools, expertise and opportunities they need to succeed.

Together with our partners, we look forward to building on this momentum throughout the second half of 2026.
