Plesk has released Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80, introducing new tools designed to make server management and troubleshooting more efficient.
The latest release brings AI-assisted functionality further into the Plesk environment, alongside new DNS diagnostics and expanded database support.
One of the most notable additions is Model Context Protocol (MCP) support. This enables Plesk servers to connect to compatible AI agents while providing scoped and reviewable access controls.
Plesk has also introduced its AI Support Assistant as a default feature on new servers. The assistant can answer configuration-related questions directly within the Plesk interface, helping users find information without leaving their working environment.
Another practical addition is the new DNS diagnostic tool, which brings several common checks together in one place. Users can check DNS resolution as well as SPF, DKIM and DMARC configuration in a single process. The feature is currently available in beta.
Finally, MariaDB 12.3 is now supported for user databases on both Linux and Windows.
For Hosting Providers, Digital Agencies and other service providers managing multiple websites and servers, small improvements to everyday management can quickly add up.
Plesk already brings website, server and WordPress management together in one control panel, with automation helping partners reduce administrative work and simplify their hosting operations. The latest release continues that direction by adding new ways to access support, troubleshoot DNS issues and work with AI-assisted management tools.
