For the fourth time the Cloud X Summit by STACKIT took place on September 17, 2026, following their Partner Summit by Schwarz Digits the day before on September 16, 2026. More than 2,300 IT decision-makers, thought leaders, and cloud enthusiasts followed the invitation to meet at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden.
STACKIT is the cloud platform of Schwarz Digits, a corporate division of Schwarz Group. The group is currently investing billions of Euros to build data-centers, planning to develop a sovereign hyperscale offering in Europe.
And throughout the entire event and together with their partners-first approach, driving the ongoing transformation towards digital sovereignty as well as AI inside Europe are the key elements reflected everywhere.

Easily relatable, this is the bottom line that resonates in the numerous engaging panel discussions, interactive breakout sessions and extensive keynotes by high profile guest speakers. Their contributions are providing insight into the strategy and philosophy of the Schwarz Group and STACKIT.
It takes some courage, sometimes some boldness, to become independent. The big takeaway of keynotes of speakers like Keynote by Maciej Brzeziński (Deputy Head of Division - DIV Platform Engineering Services, European Central Bank’s Directorate General Information Systems), Dr. Sandra Maus (Chief Growth Officer SAP Germany) and Thomas Berger (President of the PTLS of the Baden-Wurttemberg Police) is that with the right partners, the right approaches and the right choices a transformation towards European solutions, supported by (to a certain degree) autonomously acting AI is not only possible, but already happening today.
For the first time we attended the Cloud X Summit and we can genuinely confirm it's not only impressive by organisation, design and organisation. It's exiting to see a European company group together with their partners working on creating sovereign services as counterweight to established international cooperations.
Next year's fith edition of STACKIT's Cloud X Summit will be at 3/4 November 2027 at the Station Berlin.
